Sleepless Nights, Stressful Plights

Most people, specially the ones who have to work extended hours or even late nights will often find themselves having difficulty to sleep for one reason or another. These professionals are most of the time occupied with thinking of something related to work, usually pressured to perform or come up with the necessary reports as demanded by companies and their immediate superiors. While people may dread the day of having to maximize their full capacity to do so, it is apparent that at some point, such professionals will find it worthless to exert such effort if their health is at risk.

This story can be heard over and over again from various groups of people anywhere in the world. It is apparent that performing up to par is important but health constraints of human beings poses to be a problem at times. Health is non-negotiable and in these times, people will often find themselves preferring to choose their health.

Sleep is something that will surely affect health disorders. Many tend to overlook sleep as a health aid and in doing so, suffer the consequences both physically and mentally. People who lack the rechargeable prowess to rest their used up minds will often find themselves in the doldrums of being ineffective and hence worthless to a company.

Once that time comes, using up their talent for corporate gain will eventually come to a point where they will be let go once they have been fully utilized by the organization. Unfair as it may seem, this is why people must wise up and know when burn outs may occur and health may diminish as well.

Wake or Die Spoof

Most of the time, people want to watch TV and eventually fall asleep without even having to finish the program they are watching. While such may not be considered as harmful, some people just have to learn when to sleep and when to turn off their TV sets.

In this spoof video, perhaps this sleeping gadget will keep you awake. A comedy reel but then again, it seems to be effective and does get the job done or else!

Visualize yourself When You Sleep

Struggling with Narcolepsy

Narcolepsy has been known to be a struggling issue when it comes to have to stay awake and control when we want to sleep. Narcolepsy does limit itself towards humans but dogs as well.

The picture of a person or animal suffering from narcolepsy is not at all comforting. People who want to stay awake yet are deprived to do so find themselves sleeping at the most inappropriate moment. Just take a look at this poodle who is suffering from this dreaded narcolepsy syndrome.

Nuvigil: A New Sleep Disorder Drug

It is evident that most sleepless people are in for a lot of problems and to turn towards sleep disorder medical transcriptions shows the need to address such problems. Companies such as Cephalon Inc. have been endlessly trying to develop ways to address the criteria of sleep disorder and seem to have done so with the introduction of Nuvigil, an improved formulation of modafinil.

Nuvigil is an improved formulation of modafinil, the active pharmaceutical ingredient contained in Provigil — the company’s lead product. Provigil was approved by the FDA in 1998 to improve wakefulness.

With the approval of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), this drug is something worth checking out. Hopefully it will also keep the leadership position of Cephalon in the area of wakefulness.

Soft Clothes Bring Soft Sleep

Who says babies need to have the thick and soft cushions to be able to sleep well? With the help of fabric softeners and proper laundry on clothes, the search for the soft and comfortable position that infants look for can be gotten even from parents who wear hygiene and well-maintained clothes.

For babies, foams or mattresses are not really the key towards being able to sleep soundly. Sometimes if they get to satisfy that position and overall softness when they lie down, they can openly sleep despite the distractions such as loud snoring, that may hinder their sleep.

The Monsters under the Bed

Ever since we were young, we were usually told by our parents to sleep and not look under the bed. The belief that there are monsters under our beds was evident and has been passed on to this day.

Question is do kids still believe it to this day? Well it depends on their traditional upbringing. Some use it as a psychological factor while others simply play around with the idea. Check it out with this music video and see imaginations put into one compilation.
