Restless Leg Syndrome

Restlessness is something that can hinder a good night’s sleep. People end up finding the right position that they feel comfortable in and this is the result of various factors. Among them include stress, fatigue or intake of different types of medication that affect some key internal organs of the human body. The Restless Leg Syndrome may not be that important to most but it is really something that is a reality that a lot of people experience.
“RLS can be of two types, primary and secondary. Primary RLS occurs in those born with sleep disorders, and secondary RLS is usually associated with specific medical conditions, stress and the use of certain drugs.
While nearly 10 to 15 per cent of the Western population suffers from the disorder, Doctors say, in India, the number has increased from one patient a month to three to four patients a month at present, in the last five years.”
